Wild Eye Releasing debuts the out-of-this-world first trailer for Amityville in Space, a horror movie that sends the murder house into orbit.
The Amityville Horror is getting new life outside of this atmosphere with the trailer for the upcoming horror film Amityville in Space.
The trailer puts a new spin on the infamous Amityville murder house by sending it to outer space in the year 3015 by way of a black hole. The only way to stop it is to destroy the black hole itself.
Distributed by Wild Eye Releasing, Amityville in Space is directed by Mark Polonia, whose body of work consists primarily of similar wacky horror movies like Bigfoot vs. Zombies, Sharkenstein, Amityville Island, Bride of the Werewolf, Camp Murder, Land Shark and more. The film stars Titus Himmelberger, Cassandra Hayes, Tim Hatch, Ryan Dalton and Jeff Kirkendall.
The Amityville concept was spawned from Jay Anson’s 1977 novel The Amityville Horror, which is based on the questionable events of the Lutz family. It has since spawned well over 20 films, few of which are truly related beyond the Amityville name.
Amityville in Space arrives in July.
