Magic Raises £1.9M in Funding

Magica London, UK-based fitness tech startup, raised £1.9m in funding.

Backers included Fasanara Capital and SFC Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Led by CEO and co-founder Varun Bhanot, Magic has created a hologram wall mirror that provides workout advice by projecting coaches who guide users through home exercises. The mirror provides:

– Instant Form Feedback with AI coaching technology giving feedback into reps, position, pace and range of motion whilst they workout;

– Rep Counting, tracked on screen in real-time so they can focus on the workout;

Progress Tracking of movements, calculate repetitions, and help users achieve their goal.
